Principal Surveyor Contract Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Surveyor Contract to join our team at North Northamptonshire Council. As a key member of our Asset Management team, you will play a critical role in the management of our corporate estate and the delivery of high-value asset management services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a caseload of higher-value asset management services, utilizing landlord and tenant knowledge and expertise to maximize value from our estate.
- Provide technical and expert advice to council services and directorates on complex or sensitive service delivery improvements, including occupancy agreements and procurement of specialist valuation reports.
- Lead on complex negotiations for leasehold acquisitions and disposals, licenses, easements, and wayleaves, making recommendations on the best terms to the Senior Asset Manager.
- Assist the Senior Asset Manager in managing the capital receipts program.
- Provide reports to the Asset Management Review Group on council-owned land and property, identifying surplus assets for disposal at best consideration in accordance with S.
- Manage the asset valuation program, ensuring the accurate reporting of the value of our land and property portfolio for accounting purposes.
You will be a self-motivated individual with a minimum of 10 years of post-qualification surveying experience in a property management discipline. You will have demonstrated expertise in providing or managing the delivery of asset valuations for accounting purposes and have current knowledge of CIPFA rules.
