Management Accountant

We are seeking a highly analytical and business-savvy Management Accountant to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting support to our senior leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions.
- Management Accounting: Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including journal postings, accruals, and prepayments.
- Statutory Audits: Ensure timely preparation of statutory accounts and coordinate with external auditors as required.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Financial Controller and other team members to manage accounts payable and receivable, and engage with external tax advisers for corporation tax filings and payments.
- Financial Control Environment: Design and implement strong financial controls, including payments, system reconciliations, assets, and daily bank reconciliations.
- Qualifications: Qualified accountant with advanced Excel skills.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
- Experience: Proven experience in financial planning, management accounting, and statutory audits.
A competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000, depending on experience.
