Tax Accountant

About the Role:
Cedar is partnering with a renowned FMCG business to hire a Tax Accountant to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing UK direct tax compliance while benefiting from exciting career growth and development prospects within a thriving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare annual corporation tax computations for senior review and ensure compliance with UK tax legislation.
- Support the preparation of annual tax provisions and disclosures for UK and group financial reporting, utilizing strong knowledge of corporation tax return processes and legislation.
- Manage cross-border transaction direct tax compliance for the UK Group, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and keep the team updated, providing expert guidance on tax matters.
- Assist with corporate tax matters, leveraging proficient Excel skills to analyze and present data.
Requirements:
- ATT or CTA/CA qualified or 2-3 years' experience in tax, with a strong understanding of corporation tax return processes and legislation.
- Proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyze and present complex data.
