Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our team at Rutherford Cross. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our business.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Planning and Analysis: Ensure adequate planning and compliance with statutory returns and accounting regulations, including VAT, Corporation Tax, R&D, and intragroup trading.
- Reporting and Compliance: Support the reviews and publishing of annual reports and policies, and consolidate the monthly management accounts.
- Cashflow Management: Consolidate Group cashflow forecasts, perform Net Working Capital reviews and analysis, and support Group short and long-term objectives.
- Balance Sheet Analysis: Report Balance Sheet trends and analysis, and own quarterly reviews with stakeholders.
- Compliance and Governance: Monitor compliance within banking or funding covenants, and ensure these are considered in budgeting and forecasting cycles.
- Invoice Financing: Oversee month-end reconciliations, review reconciliations ahead of submission, and forecast cashflow impact on expected movements.
- Audit Support: Support interim and year-end audit preparation to ensure a clean audit for the businesses.
- Commercial Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various departments, supporting the business with ad-hoc costing and financial support where required.
