Job Role Summary
The Sirius Group is seeking a skilled Geoenvironmental Specialist to lead our site investigation team in Durham. As a Geoenvironmental Specialist, you will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality site investigation services and provide expert advice on contaminated land risk assessment.

Job Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  1. Managing site investigations to ensure accurate and timely delivery
  2. Developing and implementing remediation strategies for contaminated sites
  3. Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  4. Leading a team of junior engineers and providing guidance and mentorship
  5. Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in geoenvironmental engineering


Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  1. A master's degree in geoenvironmental or geotechnical engineering
  2. At least 5 years of experience in site investigation and remediation
  3. Professional membership of a relevant institution (e.g. ICE, CIWEM)
  4. Excellent communication and project management skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
