Cleaning Team Lead

Mears is seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead a team of cleaners and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost efficiency. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and managing all works completed by the team, including carrying out tasks directly as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize existing stock or collect materials as required for the site, ensuring Mears procurement standards are maintained.
- Complete WIP and Post inspection on tasks completed by the cleaners, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Complete and maintain all paperwork and electronic data records relevant to work carried out, ensuring completion is confirmed and a comprehensive and accurate history is available for audit, quality, health and safety, and charging purposes.
- Take on any requests from the client, directing your team to complete tasks at a high standard.
- Adopt a professional manner when communicating with the client to build and maintain a positive view of Mears Group, including appearance, company ID, and communication.
- Highlight any safeguarding concerns to the relevant individual within the branch as early as possible to ensure resolution.
- DBS clearance
- Supervisory experience
- Experience of working on a management contract in a cleaning capacity
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Numeracy skills
- Able to understand and follow standard operating procedures and use a PDA following training
- Client-focused and understanding of what makes a good team
- Full, current driving license
- Able to work alone or as part of a team, demonstrating company values
