About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance in our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and managing the work of our cleaners, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the work of our cleaners, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Utilize existing stock or collect materials as required for the site, maintaining Mears procurement standards.
  • Complete WIP and Post inspection on tasks completed by the cleaners, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Take on requests from clients, directing your team to complete tasks at a high standard.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, building and maintaining a positive view of Mears Group.
  • Highlight any safeguarding concerns to the relevant individual within branch.
Requirements
  • Experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a cleaning or facilities management capacity.
  • DBS clearance.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Experience of working on a management contract in a cleaning capacity.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Numeracy skills.
  • Able to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Client-focused and understanding of what makes a good team.
  • Full, current driving license.
