Warehouse Operations Manager

The RoleWe are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to provide leadership and support to a team of direct reports in the warehouse. The successful candidate will establish themselves as a key player in the Operational Management team and be responsible for planning, delegating, and monitoring the workload across all warehouse functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and support to a team of direct reports in the warehouse
- Plan, delegate, and monitor the workload across all warehouse functions
- Establish and maintain a safe and efficient working environment
- Drive forward positive changes in the company culture, team performance, and operational processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health & Safety practices
- Manage and support short or long-term absences from the team
- Manage conduct and performance issues from the team
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Warehouse environment
- Experience with using WMS systems
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-sufficient, able to work on own initiative and to tight deadlines
- Good time keeping, highly organised, and adaptable to change
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Solid understanding of relevant Health & Safety practices
- Excellent numerical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Competent with Microsoft Excel and Word
