Corporate Responsibility / Diversity Specialist

McKinlay Law is seeking a Corporate Responsibility / Diversity Specialist to join their London office. This is a brand new position, and you will play a key role in shaping, developing, and driving the London office CR/Diversity strategies, as well as implementing, coordinating, and facilitating a range of activities and initiatives in line with their global strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a key contact internally and externally for all CSR activity, which may include representing the firm at Pro-Bono and charity events and the CSR network.
  • Prepare and oversee the CSR and Diversity budgets.
  • Generate new creative ideas to encourage employees to comply with and further their environmental policy and activities.
  • Help embed and promote the firm's D&I strategy by building awareness and understanding of the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce.
  • Provide diversity information for client pitches.
  • Implement and review the D&I policy.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support on equality and diversity issues.

This is a new position for the London office and a fantastic opportunity to gain real responsibility and autonomy and make the role your own. It is essential that you have worked in a law firm or other professional services environment, either in a diversity/CR role or in an HR, recruitment, or L&D capacity with exposure to substantial diversity and CSR duties. You must also be an excellent relationship builder, able to develop a broad network of relationships internally and externally, and be able to drive projects forward and be willing to get involved at every level.
