About the Role:

Our client's finance team in Dundee is looking for a skilled Sales and Purchase Ledger Manager to support their day-to-day financial operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing sales and purchase ledgers, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary of £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company pension scheme, opportunities for career growth and development, and a supportive working environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and maintaining accurate sales and purchase ledgers
  • Processing invoices, payments, and performing bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports and quarterly reports
  • Monitoring and resolving any discrepancies or issues in the ledger

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant
  • Proven experience with sales and purchase ledger management
  • Strong proficiency in Sage accounting software or similar systems
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
