About the Role

The Arena Racing Company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Duty Manager to join our team at Perry Barr Greyhound Stadium. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of race days and non-racing events, while maintaining a high level of customer service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the operational elements of race days and non-racing events, ensuring they run efficiently and safely.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the site, ensuring it is consistently presented and maintained to a high standard.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to undertake the smooth running of the site during race meetings and non-racing events.
  • Take the lead on all matters regarding Health and Safety and Hospitality.
  • Run the site in the absence of the General Manager.
Requirements
  • Business or Event qualification would be an advantage.
  • Computer literate.
  • Health & Safety qualification, such as IBOSH/ Level 3 or Level 4 in Spectator Safety, would be an advantage.
  • First Aid trained.
  • Personal license holder.
