Economic Development Specialist

The Bank of England is seeking a highly skilled Economic Development Analyst to join its Monetary Analysis Directorate (MA). As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in providing analytical support to the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in setting Bank Rate and maintaining monetary and financial stability.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct in-depth analysis of macroeconomic data to inform policy decisions
- Develop and maintain complex economic models to forecast economic trends and identify potential risks
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Bank to design and implement policy strategies
- Present findings and recommendations to senior policymakers and stakeholders
- Master's degree or PhD in economics, finance, or a related field
- Proven experience in economic analysis and policy development
- Strong programming skills in languages such as R, Python, or MATLAB
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
