Economic Development Specialist

We are seeking an Assistant Socio-Economic Consultant to join our client's Strategic Land & Regeneration Team in Central London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and ambitious team of specialists renowned for their critical thinking, attention to detail, and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for clients, communities, and society.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research to maintain the company's standing as an industry leader and expert in socio-economic analysis.
- Prepare written evidence supporting development cases, including impact assessments and statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with clients, planners, architects, and technical specialists to assess and shape developments, ensuring they meet the needs of local communities.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex socio-economic challenges, using data analysis and GIS mapping techniques.
- Work closely with the Socio-Economics Department to identify and address key issues affecting development projects.
- A strong understanding of the built environment and its societal and economic impacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex data.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as geography, planning, politics, economics, or business.
