Economic Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Socio-Economic Consultant to join our client's Strategic Land & Regeneration Team in Central London. As part of the Socio-Economics Department, you will play a key role in shaping developments and assessing their societal and economic impacts.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research to maintain our client's standing as an industry leader in socio-economic development.
- Prepare written evidence to support development cases, highlighting the benefits and challenges of proposed projects.
- Undertake impact assessments to evaluate the health, equality, social value, and education impacts of developments.
- Collaborate with clients, planners, architects, and technical specialists to assess and shape developments, ensuring they meet the needs of local communities.
- A degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as geography, planning, politics, economics, or business.
- Strong numeracy and data analysis skills, with the ability to confidently interpret and apply statistics.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strategic thinking abilities and a problem-solving mindset.
