Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Howden, A Chart Industries Company, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of rotating equipment across various customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical repair, service, installation, and commissioning of rotating plant
  • Travel to customer sites in the UK and occasionally overseas
  • Work independently in remote locations with minimal supervision
  • Collaborate with clients to control on-site activities and provide technical support
  • Prepare and issue documentation related to on-site activities
  • Conduct on-site analysis of machinery and provide condition reports
Requirements:
  • Recognized engineering apprenticeship or HNC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Significant experience in a mechanical environment or industrial sites
  • Ability to self-manage in remote locations
  • Frequent travel within the UK and worldwide
