Empowering Children Through Music

We are seeking a dedicated Music Educator to join our team at Rocksteady Music School. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging music lessons in a rock and pop band setting to children in primary schools across the region.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower children through music education, helping them develop their confidence, resilience, and well-being. You will also be working closely with other educators and school staff to ensure that our music programs are delivered to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality music lessons to children in primary schools
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with school staff and parents
  • Work collaboratively with other educators to achieve our music program goals

Requirements:

  • Driving Licence and own transport required
  • Be a multi-instrumentalist - competent on at least 2 of the following instruments; drums, guitar, bass, keyboard, and vocals
  • Be passionate about teaching and inspiring others
  • Ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and well-being of children and young people
  • Excellent communication and social skills with both children and adults

Estimated salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience.
