About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Management Consultant to join our thriving team in the Midlands, South West & Wales. As a key member of our Fire Risk Management team, you'll play a crucial part in supporting our business development and project delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support our Fire Risk Management business in the region, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues within and outside the Fire Division.
  • Conduct pre and post inspections with a minimum Level 4 Fire Qualification equivalent.
  • Develop and implement pragmatic design solutions to mitigate fire risks for clients' facilities.
  • Educate stakeholders on proactive fire prevention measures and review and update fire risk management protocols to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a consultant carrying out pre and post inspections with a minimum Level 4 Fire Qualification equivalent.
  • A passion for fire risk management, with a focus on end-user experience and safety.
  • Minimum Technician level Membership of the Institute of Fire Engineers with an aim to achieve Member status (MIFireE).
  • Knowledge of relevant and current codes of practice, building regulations, health and safety legislation, standards, and materials.
  • Experience in delivering fire risk management consultancy services to a range of clients in various sectors.
