Fire Alarm Systems Specialist

About the Role:
As a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, residential, and industrial properties. Your primary responsibility will be to install, test, and commission fire alarm systems according to industry standards and regulations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm systems to meet industry standards and regulations.
- Routine maintenance and servicing of fire alarms, smoke detectors, emergency lighting, and related safety equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Fault diagnosis and repair of fire detection and alarm systems to guarantee full operational capacity and adherence to safety requirements.
- Accurate reporting and documentation for all service, maintenance, and repair activities.
- Client support and training regarding their fire safety systems to ensure they are fully equipped to use them effectively.
- Maintenance of awareness and adherence to relevant health and safety regulations to safeguard employees, customers, and stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Fire Systems Technician with strong technical expertise in fire alarm systems.
- Relevant certifications and a solid understanding of British fire safety standards and regulations would be beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for professional interactions with clients and team members.
- Valid driver's license (for field-based roles) and willingness to travel as required.
Salary:
$80,000 - $120,000 per annum.
