Transport Planner Freight 4 on 4 off Day and Night Shift

Heathrow Personnel is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy team at a large Freight forwarding company based within the Heathrow area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arrange collections and deliveries to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Track the movements of goods and monitor transportation schedules to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Plan and optimize routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and maintain accurate transportation records.
  • Liaise with transport and operations teams to resolve any issues or concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous freight experience with a minimum of 5 years checkable history.
  • Clean DBS check.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with clients.
  • Flexible with regards to shift work, including 4 on 4 off day and night shifts.
  • Proficient in PC software and full UK driving license.

Working Hours:

4 on 4 off day and night shifts, rotating shift pattern.
