Job Introduction
We're seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our Operations team in Hinckley. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team and driving excellence in all aspects of our operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead a team of operations professionals to deliver high-quality results and achieve business objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Manage budgets, resources, and priorities to optimize team performance and achieve business goals.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and senior leadership.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure the safety and well-being of team members and the community.
Requirements
- Minimum City and Guilds 2339 or a relevant engineering or business management qualification.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role, with a track record of delivering results and improving team performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A good understanding of the electricity distribution industry and its challenges.
- A commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
