The Role

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Smurfit Kappa Composites. As a Machine Operator, you will work effectively with the production team to deliver excellent customer service and ensure timely deliveries to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate paper tube winding and/or paper tube labelling machines to produce high-quality products.
  • Ensure machines are operated efficiently in line with Standard Safe Operating Procedures (SSOWs) and best maintenance practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement opportunities, including waste reduction and production efficiencies.
  • Perform other tasks within the production department when required and trained to do so, such as packing, checking, case erectors, and fulfilment.
  • General mechanical knowledge is essential, and experience of working within a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work towards tight production deadlines without compromising safety, quality, or waste expectations.
