Visual Effects Producer Job Description

Framestore is seeking a talented Visual Effects Producer to join our Film department. As a Visual Effects Producer, you will be responsible for overseeing the visual effects production for both film and episodic projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the overall visual effects production process from concept to delivery
  • Collaborate closely with clients, artists, and other production team members to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality visual effects
  • Work closely with clients to understand their vision and requirements
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance production process
  • Correspond with clients via bids, reports, approval documents, cash-flow, change orders etc.
  • Manage project milestones and deliveries in accordance with the implemented schedule
  • Handle performance, productivity, attendance and time keeping in liaison with team leaders
  • Provide verbal and written progress reports to clients, management and internal teams every week
Requirements:
  • Previous credited experience as a Visual Effects Producer in the film or episodic industry
  • Highly organised with first-class time/project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent client and crew management skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise conflicting tasks
  • Proven ability to manage high revenue budgets
  • Ability to remain calm and confident in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work within a team towards a common goal
  • Thorough understanding of live-action and CG based VFX workflows
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
Desired Skills:
  • Existing industry contacts
  • Good knowledge of MS Office packages (including Word, Excel and Project)
  • Knowledge of VFX software and tools such as Maya, Nuke, or Houdini
