HVAC Construction Lead Engineer Job Summary

Framatome, a leading international company in nuclear energy, is seeking a highly skilled HVAC Construction Lead Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the EDF EPR Engineering UK team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of HVAC activities for the life cycle of the contract or work package in accordance with the project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guarantee safety is the overriding priority for any activity performed during pre-construction activities, including nuclear safety and industrial safety.
  • Plan and deliver HVAC activities in a building from site delivery to handover to commissioning, including preparation activities before physical start of activities in the building.
  • Implement the MEH L4 schedule (4 weeks and 16 weeks look ahead) and warn management in case of change and potential risks.
Requirements:
  • Qualified HVAC Engineer in erection/maintenance scopes with a background in preparation and execution of HVAC activities (duct and equipment installation) preferably in the nuclear sector.
  • Successful experience in project management would be an advantage.
  • A strong technical interest, particularly in the field of construction or maintenance of industrial installations, is required for this position.
  • A mastery of computer tools is essential, including manipulation of massive data under Excel, Power BI, and 3D model.
  • Knowledge of EPR model would be an asset.
  • Wealth of experience, including 3 years recognized in equivalent missions.
  • Strong adaptability and autonomy.
  • Strong interest for new challenges and major projects.
  • Ability to implement field operational experience and integrate OPEX.
  • Fluent English required: writing technical documents and daily exchanges in English (at least level B2).
  • French language would be highly advantageous.
  • Successful experience in multi-cultural and international projects would also be appreciated.
