Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care as part of our clinical team. The successful candidate will utilize their advanced clinical practice skills and clinical judgment to diagnose, treat, prescribe, and refer patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Be proactive in clinical decision making, underpinned by an advanced level of theoretical and practical knowledge.
  • Participate in the Duty GP rota as required by practice needs and the clinical role.
  • Maintain a high standard of patient-focused care in accordance with practice guidelines and policies.
  • Enable the clinical team to work effectively and provide a high-quality service to patients.
  • Use professional judgment in managing complex and unpredictable care events.

Holmhurst Medical Centre is a member of a Primary Care Network and Dorking Healthcare Federation. We are a 3-partner General Medical Services practice with an increasing patient list size. Our practice is a training site, rated Good by the CQC, and consistently achieves high Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF) targets. We offer a range of services, including minor operations and off-site clinics, and utilize the SystmOne clinical system.

Person Specification
  • 2 years of paramedic experience.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Valid NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Postgraduate certification.
  • Irmer certification (desirable).
  • MSc (desirable).
