Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and deliver low-intensity interventions to children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Early Help, Social Care, schools, and across the wider system
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with children, young people, and their families
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health promotion strategies
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Graduate Diploma/Post Graduate Diploma qualification as a Children Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP)
- British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited or British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP) accredited CWP training course
- Experience of working with children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
