ATTB - The Big Jobsite is partnering with a leading electronics manufacturer to recruit a highly skilled Project Manager for their Power Electronics department.

Estimated Salary: £45,000 per annum + company benefits

This is a permanent, full-time role, Monday to Friday, at our client's site in the region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key client projects, overseeing project aspects, and liaising with clients to ensure deliverables align with agreed scope and budget.

Main Objectives
  1. Risk identification, solution development, and implementation monitoring.
  2. Project scope management, cost control, and collaboration with internal teams.
  3. Organization and facilitation of project/team meetings with stakeholders.
  4. Collaboration with the Programme Manager to maintain resource plans for multi-discipline projects.
  5. Planning and execution of product testing and verification activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness, timely completion, and high quality.
  6. Driving quality and optimizing project management practices to achieve set targets and standards.
  7. Providing technical assistance to the Power Electronics team, customers, and supply chain.
  8. Fostering skill development through training and education.
  9. Collaboration with the Engineering Manager to allocate tasks based on team strengths.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
  1. Degree level or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or production engineering (2:1 or higher).
  2. Proven experience in Project Management.
  3. Expertise in planning and prioritizing project resources.
  4. Familiarity with engineering principles, detailed drawings, and schematics.
  5. Knowledge of engineering manufacturing processes and the ability to select options that meet cost and delivery targets.
  6. Understanding of process development using 'Design of Experiment,' FMEAs, 8D, and problem-solving techniques, and implementing corrective actions.
  7. Experience in maintaining quality standards ISO9001, IATF16949, and driving continuous improvement (awareness of IPC would be beneficial).
