Job Summary:

The University is seeking a highly skilled Shuttle Bus Driver to join our Transportation team. The Shuttle Bus Driver will provide safe and reliable transportation services to faculty, students, and staff across campus. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a 14-passenger shuttle bus safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle safety inspections.
  • Maintain the interior and exterior of the vehicle to ensure safety and cleanliness.
  • Follow all state and federal rules and regulations, as well as University policies and procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to riders.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past five years.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle in inclement weather.
  • Superior interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous professional experience in driving large groups.
  • Valid commercial driver's license.

Working Conditions:
  • May work weekends, holidays, nights, and special events.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
