We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Care Supervisor to join our Complex Care team in East Sussex. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services to our clients with complex care needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct direct observations, competency checks, and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting the required standards of care.
- Carry out ongoing care needs and risk assessments, and update these as required in conjunction with the Nurse Manager assigned to your team.
- Work closely with staff to identify potential gaps in rotas and ensure that team members are upholding high standards of care.
- Attend team meetings and recognize areas of poor practice that need to be addressed.
- Provide coaching and guidance to staff to support their development and improve their skills.
- A supervisory or coaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards an NVQ 3 Supervisory qualification.
- Knowledge of tracheostomy, ventilation care, cough assist, and enteral feeding (extensive training provided).
- Experience of working with children and/or adults with complex care needs.
- Community experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to plan effectively with good time management.
- The right to work in the UK and a clean UK driving licence.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality care services. As a Field Care Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
What We Offer:- A competitive salary of £28,350 increasing to £31,500 on completion of the probation period.
