Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machining Specialist to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a Sliding Head Programmer, you will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC multi-axis sliding head autos in a high-volume production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program and set up CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
  • Operate multi-axis turning centres to achieve high precision and efficiency
  • Develop and implement cutting strategies to optimize production
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to interpret detailed drawings and deliver conforming parts
  • Work with various materials, including exotic grade alloys, to meet customer requirements
  • Ensure highest standards of health and safety and quality in the workplace

Requirements

  • Time-served experience in a technical machining background
  • Proficiency in programming using Fanuc
  • Experience working with multi-axis turning centres
  • Excellent tooling knowledge and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
