Job Title: Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our Digital Services Group (DSG) in Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust infrastructure solutions to support our business operations.

With a strong background in IT infrastructure engineering, you will have excellent knowledge of VMware technology stack, including vCenter, ESXi, CLI commands, ESXi updates/troubleshooting. You will also have experience in installing and supporting Dell Vxrail and ESXi on new hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust infrastructure solutions to support business operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure services
  • Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure engineering
Requirements
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure engineering
  • Excellent knowledge of VMware technology stack
  • Experience in installing and supporting Dell Vxrail and ESXi on new hardware
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 per annum (depending on experience)
