About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Band 5 Mental Health Nurse to join our dedicated Multi-Disciplinary Team at NELFT NHS Foundation Trust.

The successful applicant will be part of our male acute ward Monet Ward, which offers recovery-focused treatment, care, and discharge planning, clinical and risk assessments, and provides a safe and therapeutic environment.

Main Responsibilities

As a Band 5 Mental Health Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the team to promote a culture that fosters high employee engagement and a progressive attitude to service improvement.

You will also work with patients and their families, demonstrating a passion for helping those experiencing mental health concerns.

Working for NELFT

NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust.

All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment.
