Mental Health Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Recovery Worker to join our Mental Health Crisis Alternatives service at Hestia. As a Specialist Recovery Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals who are experiencing or feel at risk of a mental health crisis.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate service users to identify causes of crises and develop strategies to prevent future crises
- Develop effective safety plans with individuals to manage their mental health and wellbeing
- Carry out individual sessions with service users to support their recovery and independence
- Liaise with statutory providers and other agencies to ensure comprehensive support
- Participate in continued professional development to stay up-to-date with mental health issues
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and support

Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of working with individuals with mental health difficulties
- Knowledge of relevant Mental Health legislation and recovery approaches
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Good IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Pattern
Part-time, permanent, 27.45 hours per week. Full-time Equivalent Salary: £27,450.06.
