Job Title: Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team as a Cardiac Services Manager/Principal Cardiac Physiologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of our elective cardiology service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Cardiology Service, including capacity and demand, and patient issues.
  • Support non-clinical staff in booking and arranging appointments, managing stock, and dealing with consultant queries.
  • Participate in the provision of cardiac procedures in the outpatient setting.
  • ECHO accreditation is essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Cardiac Physiologist, with a high level of professional and clinical knowledge.
  • Previous management experience, including managing a team of staff, managing clinical activity, and communication across disciplines.
  • Ability to support cath lab lists for elective angiography, PCI, and device implant/explant.
