About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Specialist to join our team at Octopus Energy. As a Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption of our low-carbon technologies and renewable energy solutions.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and establish sales pipelines with customers, from lead to delivery, and achieve sales and orders in line with our key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Explain the benefits of our low-carbon technologies, solar, and air source heat pump systems, as well as our position as a provider.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process and record customer feedback in our customer relationship management system (CRM).
  • Collaborate with technical design teams to develop solar or air source heat pump plans and ensure they meet the unique needs of each customer.
  • Act as an advocate for our technology and its potential to make a positive impact on the environment.

What We Offer


  • A competitive starting salary of £24,300 per year.
  • A commission structure with an OTE of £10,000 in the first year.
