Facilities Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Assistant to join our team at Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive cleaning service to our in-patient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out periodic cleaning tasks in line with the annual periodic cleaning schedule, adhering to National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2021.
- Work as part of a team to ensure that cleaning standards are achieved, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facilities.
- Drive a Trust vehicle or use a car to travel across the Trust footprint, collecting and delivering cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
- Perform a range of cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, ceiling and wall cleaning, curtain changing, and bathroom and toilet cleaning.
- Ensure that infection control, COSHH, and health and safety procedures are always followed.

Person Specification- NVQ 2 or equivalent experience, plus a full UK driving license.
- Experience of cleaning services, COSHH, and Colour Coding.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety Techniques and good liaison and communication skills.
