Job Description
  • Supervise classes across a range of year groups, ensuring students stay on task and complete assigned work
  • Manage behaviour and support students to meet classroom expectations
  • Build positive relationships with students and staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful environment
  • Provide additional support to students where required, helping them access their learning materials
  • Step into other responsibilities as needed, such as assisting with exam invigilation or small group interventions
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a teaching, tutoring, or classroom-based role, or a relevant degree with aspirations to teach
  • Confident in managing a classroom and engaging with students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff
  • A proactive, adaptable attitude, and the ability to handle varied situations calmly and effectively
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
