Responsible Culinary Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Chef De Partie to join our prestigious culinary team. This role requires experience in high-volume environments with a focus on presentation and conference-style catering.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes, and other pertinent information to ensure seamless service.
  • Participate in company-wide cost savings initiatives to optimize food costs.
  • Cooperate with implementation of cooperative training programs to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Display passion for increasing knowledge of the culinary field through collaborative development and curation of menus and specials.
  • Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Cultivate a kitchen environment conducive to learning and growth opportunities through hands-on leadership skills inclusive of delegation and follow-up.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending on formal degree of training.
  • Fine dining experience highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of café operations is a plus.
  • Extensive catering experience, including high-volume, complex foodservice operations, is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
  • Ability to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities, including following up with front-of-house teams.
  • Leading pre-shifts and recurring property leadership meetings.
  • Flexible and long hours are sometimes required; rotating work schedules that may include nights and weekends.
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period.
  • Ability to operate common kitchen equipment.
