40 hours per week (Fixed Term Contract - minimum of 6 months)

Monday to Friday between 7am and 4pm (Some Sundays will be required but with a Friday off instead)

£ per hour

Central London location, very close to transport links and underground within minutes' walk.

As a Culinary Specialist at Sodexo, you will work under the guidance of the head chef and be responsible for managing a section of the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

You will have a passion for cooking and a desire to learn and grow as a culinary professional. If you are a team player who works well under pressure, then join Sodexo and be part of a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and specifications.
  • Assist in menu planning and recipe development.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Comply with all Company and hospital policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organised.

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent at least 2 years plus working as a chef.
  • Capable of thriving in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.

  • Ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect.
