Social Worker

We are seeking a qualified social worker to join our Community See & Solve and Active Recovery Team, who are making a daily difference to the lives of the people we serve. As a social worker, you will be working with individuals, local communities, and our partners to promote independence and control, enabling people to live the lives they choose to lead.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality social work practice, ensuring individuals have a solution-focused plan towards achieving their goals and maintaining their wellbeing.
- Work creatively with individuals, local communities, and our partners, empowering them to deliver the best possible outcomes for people and to create a positive Adult Social Care culture.
- Join an integrated multi-disciplinary team to promote independence and control to enable people to live the lives they choose to lead, whatever their age or stage of life.
We are committed to supporting qualified social workers back into practice, and to gain their professional registration. We have a package of support available to facilitate this. We are looking for people who can demonstrate a strong value base that informs their human rights-based approaches with adults, a recognition that people are the experts in their lives, a relentless commitment to quality and best practice, and a capacity for honest, critical reflection and openness to learning.
Requirements- You must be a qualified social worker and be registered with Social Work England.
- We are looking for people who can work holistically over both the Community See & Solve and Active Recovery Teams, supporting individuals within the City who are possibly entering the service for the first time.
The post requires a commitment to strengths-based practice and proactive prevention. We are looking for people who can work flexibly, with one post requiring a 5-day week over a 7-day working rota and the second post being a 5-day Monday to Friday. Flexible working can be considered.
