Adult Social Care Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our team on a locum basis. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the public sector or private practice, carrying a full and varied caseload of Adult Social Care matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on Adult Social Care Law, including children social care, education, and health matters.
  • Attend and advise at meetings, including Safeguarding Adults from Abuse Meetings, case planning meetings, and other similar meetings.
  • Conduct advocacy before the Court and instruct counsel where appropriate.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant legislation, policy, and regulations, and provide training as needed.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Barrister, or Legal Officer with experience in Adult Social Care Law.
  • Prior experience working in the public sector or private practice, carrying a full and varied caseload.
  • Ability to work remotely with occasional court attendance.
