The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team and work closely with our Procurement Manager to coordinate tasks and provide administrative support across all our procurement processes. This role will play a critical part in delivering a high-quality service across our business and driving cost savings.
Key Responsibilities- Raising purchase orders based on project team needs
- Liaising with suppliers regarding supply or delivery issues
- Supporting the estimating department with product information and supplier inquiries
- Maintaining supplier relationships and driving discounts
- Implementing process and procedures to ensure continuity within the business
- Providing monthly updates on systemic pricing
- Validating receipt of goods before payments are made
- Booking and payment of hotels booked outside of the Navan system
- Verifying Navan Expense Card usage within company policy
- Assigning Navan Card Business Expenditure to projects in Procore
- Handling supplier defective goods and returns in accordance with ISO:9001:2015 accreditation
- Proven track record of proficiency in productivity and collaboration software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships
- Able to adapt to changes in priorities while maintaining effective management of expectations
