Job Title: EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a wonderful two-form entry Catholic primary school in Barnet. The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification and experience in supporting children's learning, with a strong understanding of how children learn and develop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons, with a focus on EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of a well-organized and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to identify and support children with special needs.
  • Develop and implement strategies to encourage learning and engagement in children, including those with special needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to ensure a smooth transition between home and school.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in supporting children's learning, with a focus on EYFS and Key Stages 1 and 2.
  • Strong understanding of how children learn and develop.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a focus on supporting the class teacher and other support staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with parents and carers.
