About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Octavius Infrastructure. As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Supervise and manage contract activities on site, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Leadership: Lead by example and promote a positive safety culture and a right-first-time attitude among the site team and the supply chain.
  • Communication: Communicate clearly and effectively with site management, clients, local communities, and other stakeholders.
  • Quality Delivery: Ensure the delivery of a quality product that meets the customer's requirements and expectations.
  • Profitability: Maximise the profitability of the project by identifying and recording changes, managing resources efficiently, and closing out defects and deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Team Development: Support and develop team members and share best practices and lessons learned across the sector.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a site supervisor, undertaking similar work, ideally in the rail infrastructure sector.
  • Qualifications: A valid SSSTS qualification (preferably SMSTS or working towards SMSTS) and a valid CSCS card, PTS, and other identified training.
  • Skills: A good level of IT skills and a strong commitment to the Octavius values of integrity, caring, progressive, openness, and quality.
  • Personal Qualities: A willingness to learn and grow with the company and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.
