Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced poker dealer to join our team at Grosvenor Casinos, London Bayswater. As a poker dealer, you will be responsible for dealing poker games in a fair and efficient manner, while also providing excellent customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deal Poker Games
    • Deal poker games in a fair and efficient manner, ensuring that all games are dealt in accordance with the rules and regulations of the game.
    • Manage the flow of the game, ensuring that all players are dealt their cards in a timely manner and that the game is played in a smooth and efficient way.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Provide a high level of customer service to all guests, ensuring that they have a positive and enjoyable experience at the casino.
    • Respond to customer queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Create a Memorable Experience
    • Work with the card room supervisor to create a memorable experience for our guests, including providing entertainment and promotions.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase customer engagement and retention.
  • Work as Part of a Team
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve the goals and objectives of the casino.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that all games are dealt in a fair and efficient manner.
  • Maintain Security and Integrity
    • Ensure that all games are dealt in a secure and fair manner, in accordance with the rules and regulations of the game.
    • Report any suspicious activity or irregularities to the card room supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience as a poker dealer in a casino environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of poker rules and regulations.
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
