Production Director

Job Summary:
Vibe Recruit is seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of production supervisors and shop floor operators to achieve outstanding results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective systems for improving internal and external quality, cost improvements, and on-time delivery.
- Lead the team in achieving output while meeting and exceeding productivity targets by reviewing and planning for daily, weekly, and quarterly labour requirements and equipment as well as tooling and supply requirements.
- Be accountable for daily analysis of variable labour costs and work with production supervisors and team leaders to determine required staffing levels.
- Carry out management responsibilities including recruiting, and training employees; planning, directing work; evaluating and appraising individual performance.
- Showcase your continuous improvement and lean manufacturing experience. You will need to be the owner of 6S and attend weekly meetings with senior members of the management team.
