About the Role

ZF Group is seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our Corporate Legal department, you will play a crucial role in advising the business on a broad range of commercial contracts and day-to-day issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating B2B supplier and customer contracts, as well as Collaboration, Development, or License Agreements.
  • Cooperating with other members of the Corporate Legal department abroad and with authorities, agencies, and law firms in the UK.
  • Providing legal and regulatory guidance to UK management and key stakeholders.
  • Taking over Company Secretarial duties for our UK companies.
  • Providing proactive legal support and advice on an ad-hoc basis to internal customers.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation that may affect the business and advising on such matters.

Requirements

  • Qualified UK Solicitor with a strong UK contract law background.
  • At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Confident and effective communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to structure complex issues and summarize them in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience working in the automotive sector and manufacturing environment would be beneficial.
