Job Title: Head of Engineering

About the Role

As the Head of Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the development of cutting-edge quantum networking hardware and overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacturing and market release.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to develop cutting-edge quantum networking hardware.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept and design through to manufacturing and market release.
  • Collaborate with company leadership to align technical strategies with broader company goals.
  • Mentor the engineering teams and foster a culture of innovation and growth within the organisation.
Requirements
  • Extensive industry experience in leading cross-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Experience taking prototypes through product development, manufacturing, and release to customers, including product certification.
  • Familiarity with project management techniques, process and workflow management tools.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development processes, especially within early prototyping and R&D.
  • Experience in engineering best practices, with a focus on driving technical innovation while maintaining product quality.
