Head of Engineering (Systems and Projects)

Marshall Group is seeking an experienced Head of Engineering to lead our Systems and Projects team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development of our engineering capabilities and ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Systems and Projects team, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development of our engineering processes and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Develop and manage the engineering budget, ensuring effective cost management and control.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery, ensuring the successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects and teams.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong business acumen, with a good understanding of financial management and cost control.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
