About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and providing advice on complex repairs and maintenance issues in our customers' homes and empty properties.

You will work closely with our customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure that our services meet operational standards, regulatory requirements, and health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out inspections and providing advice on complex repairs and maintenance issues
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and health and safety requirements
  • Working with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders to improve service delivery and meet operational standards
  • Leading and managing a team of surveyors to deliver high-quality services

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual who can demonstrate a strong understanding of repairs and maintenance principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key qualifications and skills include:

  • HNC in construction or equivalent
  • City and Guilds or equivalent in trades background (e.g., plumbing or carpentry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
