About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Repairs and Maintenance Surveyor to join our team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections and providing advice on complex repairs and maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify repair and maintenance needs
  • Provide expert advice on complex repairs and maintenance issues
  • Develop and implement repair and maintenance plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to improve service delivery and meet operational standards
  • Ensure that all work is carried out to a high standard and in accordance with company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • HNC in construction or equivalent qualification
  • City and Guilds or equivalent qualification in a trade background (e.g. plumbing or carpentry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
